I-resin ye-phenoliciyinto eyenziwe nge-polymer eyenziwe ngokwenziwa eyakhiwe ngokujiya kwama-phenol (njenge-phenol) nama-aldehyde (njenge-formaldehyde) ngaphansi kwe-acid noma i-base catalysis. Inokumelana okuhle kakhulu nokushisa, ukuvikela kanye namandla omshini futhi isetshenziswa ezinkambeni zikagesi, zezimoto, zezindiza kanye neminye imikhakha.
I-Phenolic resin (i-Phenolic Resin) iyi-resin yokwenziwa eye yathuthukiswa. Yenziwa yi-condensation reaction ye-phenol noma izinto eziphuma kuyo (njenge-cresol, i-xylenol) kanye ne-formaldehyde. Ngokusho kohlobo lwe-catalyst (i-acidic noma i-alkaline) kanye nesilinganiso sezinto zokusetshenziswa, ingahlukaniswa ngezigaba ezimbili: i-thermoplastic kanye ne-thermosetting.

1. Ngokuvamile kuba yinto eqinile enombala onsundu ophuzi noma ekhanyayo. Imikhiqizo etholakala kwezentengiselwano ivame ukwengeza imibala ukuze iveze imibala eyahlukahlukene.
2. Inokumelana nokushisa okumangalisayo futhi ingasetshenziswa isikhathi eside ku-180℃. Yakha izinga eliphezulu lekhabhoni elisele (cishe u-50%) ekushiseni okuphezulu.
